Fazal Mahmood qualified as chartered accountant from Jeffreys Henry Chartered Accountants, London (a member firm of JHI) in 1984 from Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is a fellow member of Institute of chartered accountants in England and Wales, Institute of chartered accountants of Pakistan and Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountant. He is also the member of audit faculty of Institute of chartered accountants of England and Wales. He was elected twice as Council Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (1997-2005) He also served as chairman technical advisory committee (North) of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (1997-2005). He was twice elected as Vice President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He was also elected as director of Lahore Stock Exchange (Guarantee) Limited for three years (1998-2000). He was also elected as President of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants. He also attended IFAC and SAFA conferences around the world. He has diversified expertise in capital market issues, Corporate Laws and financial management. Sheikh Atif Farooq FCA (Pakistan)

Sheikh Atif Farooq qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 2001 and is an Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Pakistan. He is also the life member of Lahore Tax Bar Association. He was admitted to the partnership in 2003. He has multinomial experience in his professional career. He has expertise in financial management, Taxation, Budgeting, management consultancy and human resource management and development.

Zafar Iqbal Sobani, FCA (Pakistan)

Zafar Iqbal Sobani brings with him over thirty eight years’ experience of working in the manufacturing, power sector and audit profession in Pakistan and in the Middle East.

He obtained qualification of Chartered Accountancy and Cost & Management Accountancy in the early eighties from Pakistan. He worked with A.F. Ferguson (PWC) in Pakistan and Ernst and Young, Saudi Arabia.

His experience includes working in the power sector of the Country since 2007 heading Hubco Pakistan and Liberty Power Tech. He has rich exposure to the power sector industry in the country along with strong relationship with all the major stake holders in power sector of the Country.

He worked with Pakistan Oxygen Limited (now Linde Pakistan), a MNC company, as well as large local groups including Lakson Group and House of Habib in the areas of finance, arranging project funding for large size projects, treasury, costing, supply chain, real estate management, marketing and general management.

He has been the President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) the self-regulator of accounting profession in the country and served actively in council and regional committee in various capacities. He also remained Chairman of Quality Control Board for nine years and was entrusted with the objective of overseeing the quality of audit assurance work in Pakistan.

He is a Certified Director from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance as well as certification as a trainer of Corporate Governance by IFC.

Imran Akhter FCA

Muhammad Imran Akhtar, M.COM, FCA (Pakistan)

Muhammad Imran Akhtar is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He qualified as a chartered Accountant in August 2005. He has also completed his M.com from Hailey College of Commerce Punjab University Lahore in 1998.

He has served in senior management roles in various companies.He has experience of almost ten years in the field of audit and financial consultancy both at national and multinational level. He has also worked on projects relating to the World Bank.

He has expertise in financial management, Taxation, Outsourcing, management consultancy, corporate laws and performance audits. He also has a vast experience in teaching since 2005 in leading universities.

MUHAMMAD ARSHAD, FCA (Pakistan)

He is fellow member of ICAP and PIPFA. He qualified as chartered accountant in 2001.

He joined his parent CA Firm, Nasir and Co, Chartered Accountants initially as Manager Audit in 1997 and then as Partner (Audit & Management Consultancy). Later in 2004, he set up his own CA Firm, Muhammad Arshad & Co, Chartered Accountants till 2013. During this period, he had the clients from all sectors/industries namely sports goods, surgical instruments, garments, leather products, associations, chamber, dry port, schools/colleges, NGOs, Hospitals, Hotels, etc. for internal/external audit, accounting, tax, corporate and management consultancy services.

Further, he played leading role in bringing back the leading sports brand back to Sialkot after it had pulled out its business in 2007 as Management Consultant/adviser in one of the largest sports manufacturing companies of Sialkot. Later in 2013, he joined the company as Director Operations leading the overall management teams of the company in marketing, production, quality controls, HRM, compliance, R&D, accounts, finance, internal audit, PPC, costing, lean system, IT, HSE, MIS, ERP, etc. Since then, he played key role in making the company a role model in terms of quality, delivery, management and worldwide reputation. He had received best performance award from the leading Brand twice in whole Asia (2011 & 2012) and Export Merit Trophy from President of Pakistan (2010). During this period, he has been travelling worldwide from China to USA to meet customers’ leadership/teams and sourcing vendors.

Parallel to all his professional commitments, being passionate for the education/teaching, he established first ever professional accountancy approved college in Sialkot as one of the founding Partners & Principal in 2001. Since then, he has been playing leading role for the promotion of accountancy profession in the region and also teaching core subjects. In 2019, after leaving 18 years previous partnership, he established PAC Sialkot Campus as Major Partner/Principal.
